Newer gene family pages are available

This is our older gene family page that is no longer maintained. Please go to our new look gene family index to view a complete list of our new maintained gene families. More information can be found in our gene families help page.

We have created a mapping file (Excel) that will map most of the old families to the new. However because we have changed the way we assign families and how we organise them, this file may not map all the old families.

Immunoglobulin superfamily domain containing

Click on the immunoglobulin superfamily domain class of interest to retrieve the gene symbols for that category:

1. V-set domain containing

2. C1-set domain containing

3. C2-set domain containing

4. I-set domain containing

5. Immunoglobulin-like domain containing

The V-set, C1-set, C2-set, and I-set domains are described in "Sequence profiles of immunoglobulin and immunoglobulin-like domains". The Immunoglobulin-like domain containing class represents genes encoding proteins with an Ig-like domain that does not fit into the other categories. The immunoglobulin and T cell receptor gene segments are not included in these categories; please see the separate Immunoglobulins and T cell receptors pages.
