m6A methyltransferase complex:: N6-methyladenosine modification in mRNA influences mRNA splicing, export, localization, translation, and stability. The m6A writer complex is located in the nuclear speckle, and catalyses the transfer of methyl groups from S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) to the specific adenines on the target RNAs.
