: The BRCC36 isopeptidase complex (BRISC) is a Deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) that is specific for lysine 63-linked ubiquitin hydrolysis. The BRISC complex regulates the assembly of the mitotic spindle by deubiquitinating the essential spindle assembly factor nuclear mitotic apparatus (NuMA). [Source: Yan et al, 2015]
