Also known as : "CELSR"
A subset of : Adhesion G protein-coupled receptors
|Approved Symbol||Approved Name||Previous Symbols||Synonyms||Chromosome|
|CELSR1||cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 1||FMI2, ADGRC1, HFMI2, ME2, CDHF9||22q13.31|
|CELSR2||cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 2||EGFL2||CDHF10, MEGF3, KIAA0279, ADGRC2, Flamingo1||1p13.3|
|CELSR3||cadherin EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor 3||EGFL1||ADGRC3, HFMI1, FMI1, MEGF2, CDHF11||3p21.31|
The CELSR genes fall into two distinct families, the cadherins and the adhesion G protein-coupled receptors. As the current CELSR nomenclature, "cadherin, EGF LAG seven-pass G-type receptor", describes both families we have chosen to retain this in favour of updating to the new ADGRC aliases.
